Submit the arrival notice
The agent sends the PMS arrival record 72 hours before ETA. ETA notice is required three days before arrival, with updates before entry.

Use the published approach
Official chart references are Oman 257 and BA 2853. The main channel is published at 18.5 m with a 260 m width.

Confirm pilotage and tugs
Pilotage is normally compulsory. Towage is required from 70 m LOA, with Port Control deciding the tug plan.

Contact SOHAR Port Control on VHF 71 and maintain a listening watch on VHF 16.
